Hooray! Tony Cliff Announces Second Delilah Dirk Graphic Novel!

Delilah Dirk and the Turkish Lieutenant released this week and if you haven’t read my review you should. The book broke our usual rating scale and that means something! Cliff and First Second Books announced a second volume of the series with the above sketch. The second volume is tentatively titled  Delilah Dirk and the Blades of England, as was revealed to Comics Beat. They also have the logline:

Delilah Dirk and the Blades of England lands Delilah and Selim right in the middle of yet more crazy adventures. When Delilah is framed as a spy by an English army officer, her passion for revenge threatens to sever her friendship with Selim. Is she willing to lose the companionship of her only good friend in order to reclaim her reputation? Selim finally gets to see the England he has only imagined, but how will he feel when the combined strains of social conventions and Delilah’s thirst for revenge overwhelm his experience?

It sounds fantastic already! To pass the time I will re-read the first volume over and over. In the meantime you can also enjoy some of Cliff’s prints showing Dirk’s travels, which are available for purchase.
