Here's Bruce Timm's Superman Animation

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebXB0lBoaQ0 This is pretty incredible. I mean overall Superman is a boring character, but Timm captures his legacy and pulls out the fanboy or fangirl inside. I think publishers often forget that the legacy of the character is an important part because at his core Superman is unchanged over 75 years, but people still like him. There's something to be said about reading a comic with him and realizing that at any time over the past seventy-years someone else is doing the same thing. It's that strange connection that keeps him interesting not his marriage, job, supporting cast or even his rogues gallery. But what do I know, I'm just some ass that writes about comic books.
