Yes I'm excited for a game that I've never played, but considering Cup-Head looks like a class 2-D animation I think I can be excited. The first game is set to release next year (I think it was pushed back), but the creators Chad and Jared Moldenhauer have said that in its ultimate form it'll be a trilogy. The expansion packs will build on the games weapons and elements which sounds interesting. Source
