Review: 2000 AD – Prog 1909
Borag Thungg homeskillets, here are three fantabulous things about Prog 1909! 1) The "Block Judge" story has reached its conclusion in true Dredd fashion. Though it's a terrible place to jump on because it's a wrap-up chapter, it was a great ending to a story that I would love to own a trade of when it comes out.
2) This week's chapter of Greysuit featured a character who had "song tourettes," which is exactly as fantastic as it sounds.
3) THE ART. Literally, all of the art. Every fucking story in this anthology right now is just gorgeous to look at. Any small quibbles I had with the artwork last week completely evaporated this week. I'm marking the score down a point this week because the issue is a little less accessible to new readers with all of the stories winding down as much as they are, but absolutely every artist is bringing their A game to each story, each with their own style.
