Review: Cluster #3

So continues the crazy adventures of Samara Simmons. This issue is really good for a number of reasons, which I can't really reveal without spoiling it. Needless to say if you read and liked the last two, this one won't disappoint. New characters get introduced, some characters leave. Motivations and the real story point has finally been revealed. We get to see more aliens and learn their names and what they are doing.

Cluster-#3We continue to get back-story about Samara on earth. It's an interesting choice to not add a 'six months ago' or however long it was, in story, since she killed... (There’s another story point I can't spoil, but they tell you who it was). Like I said last time if this is your first issue that could be confusing.

I dig this comic's look. Couciero has made some really interesting looking characters and aliens. Garland matches this with really good choice on the color palette, which make the planet feel alien even when looks normal.

This book has two 'what the fuck' moments at the end. Which makes me want to read the next issue right now. Dammit I want to read it so bad.

Score: 4/5
