If you remember my last Space Battle Lunchtime review, there was a battle. In space. It involved a no-holds barred battle to cook an awesome meal for King Caesar, and the losers die. This time a human (Peony) is involved. In the midst of the cooking battle, Neptunia (an alien that is also Peony's girlfriend) busts through the wall of the arena and she and the human woman embrace because they love each other. We pick up with the two lovebirds making an escape from the arena, the other aliens in hot pursuit. The two check room after room searching for the exit when they suddenly find an area full of vehicles perfect for getawaying in. Some guards catch up with them, but Neptunia all of them. The two then climb onto a random motorcycle and before they can make their escape, the exit is blocked by the other contestants, all wanting to kill them! Neptunia, who is driving, does a killer motorcycle move and gets past them, though.

The two finally reach an exit into space, but Lil' Magicorn (the most ruthless and loved of all the contestants) catches up with them and gets the Peony. Just as it looks like Neptunia is about to attack Magicorn, she instead destroys the camera that is still filming for the show. This causes Magicorn to rage out and release Peony, as there is no point to doing anything if there's no audience. A battle ensues, and the two girls get away and into space.

The next part is a part that would only make sense if you'd read the first few issues, which I have not yet. Although it may not seem like it by my inability to remember characters names, I really enjoy this book. It's very funny, the writing is very well thought out and you can really feel the emotion within all the dialogue. The book is also very well drawn, the art is almost reminiscent of early Adventure Time. I look forward to seeing what comes next for these two girls and the fate of Space Battle Lunchtime.
