The Infinite Loop is one of those comics that is trying to educate the reader about a certain topic (LGBT relationships) kind of like Bitch Planet. But unlike Bitch Planet it focuses on making decent characters and telling a fun story. It's this that makes this comic instantly readable instead of feeling preachy. That I can get behind. I didn't even know it had an agenda until the writer’s notes and letters page (okay I knew it was heavy on love and emotions but I thought it was doing an Equilibrium kind of thing). The books main plot device is time travel; honestly if I'd picked up a book with this name and it didn't have time travel I'd have been surprised. It handles this well without getting into the nitty-gritty of how it works. They really hammer home the point of time/space counterfeiters, which I'm sure will ease up in future issues or we'll find out more about who they are and why they are doing whatever it is they are doing.

The artwork is really nice and the two characters we meet are instantly likeable. They play with the panels’ placement and borders to highlight the story. One where the panel borders are arranged like an infinity symbol, it's on the nose but I liked it. The story has a couple of quirky side gags that were fun to see, I'm still not sure if it broke the reality of the story for me. The intro to time-travel was cool, using concentric circles to denote when they are time traveling.

I got through this book really quick and enjoyed it a lot. I don't want to spoil anything in this review but please read it, and when you do come talk to me about it in the comments.
