Review: TMNT #41

The Turtles are giving you what you want for Christmas. The battle of the technodome. If you‘ve been following the series this has been building forever and it’s finally here. Let’s just say I’m stoked to be reading it. The technodome is testing and Stockman and Fugitoid are discussing how to keep from there demise. But Krang is finished with their whining and wants to see the results. There is complete distrust between Fugitoid and Stockmann but for the sake of survival they will throw their differences aside.

TMNT41_cvrAThere are many alliances happening that seem unlike likely like Donatello trying to gain forces with Shredder and the foot clan. the main reason is because they have a mutual enemy. The turtles need an army and Shredder needs a way in to over take Krang. Kira doesn’t believe her grand father should trust the turtles but he is one step ahead of her.

For everything that is building everything is coming together seamless. I like the blend and collaboration characters coming together. The amazing part with a huge cast of characters is that they all work together and not just thrown in there with no purpose making it awkward. I know traditionally there isn’t a big event with these smaller books but this feels like one and done right. The art is fantastic as usual. The color and the action work perfectly. It really is the one comic that you enjoy turning every page because of the art and story.

I recommend to pick this book up and really the whole series.  It is one of my favorite for years now. This is also i good spot to start because it a start of a brand new story arc.
