Review: Wonder Woman Standing Tall from EntertainArt
By Dustin Cabeal
Originally I had hoped to write this review before the Wonder Woman movie released, but a nasty bout of the flu and the timing of my vacation dictated that I would instead write this review now. When it comes to reviewing a product there are several questions that you must ask yourself along the course of the review. These questions are how any reviewer worth a damn will give you a solid, unbiased review. At least in my opinion.
For something like this canvas print, there are several easy questions such as the quality of the print, the design, etc., etc. At the end of the day though I only found one question to be important. Would a little girl love having this hang in her room? Now I'm not saying that this is gender specific or trying to exclude anyone's sexuality so please don't make it a larger social issue than it is, but let's be honest for a minute. Wonder Woman is the fictional role model for little girls. For boys, well, there's a half a dozen characters that you've already listed in your head and so I don't need to give them a free plug here.
That's the question I went into this with, because if the answer is "Yes", then everyone else can use their own individual tastes to discern if $29.99 print is right for their home or room. Frankly, you don't need me at that point.
Now if only I had a family member that I could ask this question to... as the fates would have it, I do and perfectly timed their family visited when I received Wonder Woman Standing Tall. Without hesitation when I asked my niece if she liked it, she said yes. Knowing children I didn't ask her if she wanted it or even hint at it. It was presented as something for me which made her answer all the more genuine. If I hadn't been sick, I would have recorded something with her, because her excitement when I told her she could have it was priceless. Though I'm sure her parents could put a price on it since they had to figure out how to get it back on the plane with them undamaged.
There are some pictures attached for you to check out, but the short answer to my question is yes, yes a little girl would be excited to hang this in her room. If you need more details than that, then you're probably too on the fence to buy this anyway.
