So here’s the thing—not much happens in this issue. Sure, some of the Visigoths tour the local grocery store. And we get the buildup to the next best crossover in the Valiant universe. If you are looking for the usual Aric cleaning house of the Vine aliens, that’s not happening here. I’m not saying that this is a bad thing; instead it’s a building issue. And I will rate it accordingly.

Okay, so this is a dip in quality, but a needed one. X-O Manowar still happens to be one of the most solid comic books on the shelves in your local comic book store. A three for this book is like a five for most books in the business.

Go out and put this comic book on your pull list as soon as possible.
