When we last left Six-Gun Gorilla: Long Days of Vengeance, Gravesend and his posse was dropping a bit of an ass whipping on Abby and her big top family and that’s putting it mildly. After the boys wreck shop on the big top there are a handful of deaths and a very injured Abby. When the dust settles Kuma, filled with revenge, heads out to trail the band of thugs. In town, the Gravesend meets with the man who enlisted his services. Even though the job was a failure; the location of the Italian man, Gravesend reassure that the job will be completed and the target will be located. Once the two parties are in agreement, Gravesend and his boys are visited by vengeful Kuma and his two massive revolvers.

The best part of this issue of Six-Gun Gorilla is easily the pacing, oh and the fact a massive gorilla has two guns and hate in his eyes. The narrative moves very quickly and is overall a pretty enjoyable read. There are a few spots when dealing with the gang where the language gets a bit “salty”. While I wasn’t bothered by it and I understand that degenerate gang members are the source, it could come off a bit gratuitous to some readers who might be happening to reading this out loud to kids or the elderly or in a public place—maybe a Denny’s. Because I’m sure that happens all the time.

As much fun as it was to see Kuma get into vigilante mode in the town’s bar, I was almost craving for him to mix it up with the pure primal rage and the fierce iron slinging skills. Like ripping arms off and swinging from chandlers while popping head shots as towns folk go running, screaming bloody murder and crapping their pants! On the Brightside there is still time for such anarchy and hopefully an endless stream of injustice to right, that way we can witness Kuma go completely bananas.

There’s some fun to be had with Six-Gun Gorilla: Long Days of Vengeance. It’s making its way to what could be a very fun build up where Kuma and friends bring an awesome fire fight to the evil doers. Because God forgives, he doesn’t.
