Stuff like this is why people love DC comics. You can literally recreate the entire world and have it be familiar and different at the same time. Enter Matthew R Humphreys with his take on a Batgirl animated series. He actually has a ton of "reboots" for the X-Men, Superman, Avengers and even some Street Fighter stuff that's definitely worth checking out. At any rate check out the amazing Batgirl animation that will never be.
