I can't say that I've been terribly impressed by this years E3. I kind of figured that would happen since video games need two years to cook nowadays and with the next generation of consoles just approaching that year mark... well there's just nothing ready for them. Meanwhile it has marked the return of some great Japanese game directors and it kind of reminds you of why Japan was the hub of games for so long. Enter Tomonobu Itagaki who you'll remember from the Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden series. Well he's made a WiiU game called Devil's Third and it looks fucking awesome. I've never, and I mean ever, considered buying a WiiU or really any Nintendo product again because they don't make games I want to play... but I may consider it just to play this game. Also good for you Nintendo for showing that you can make a mature game about ten years too late. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9teDKrpaDKQ
