Fantagraphics Previews Its November 2026 Releases

Fantagraphics has shared a preview of six books in its November 2026 lineup, spanning historical graphic novels, contemporary comics, science-fiction adventures and a collection of Jim Steranko’s Marvel work.

The Abyss of Oblivion — Paco Roca and Rodrigo Terrasa

This historical graphic novel explores Spain’s haunted past, acts of resistance against fascism and the dignity of the departed. Fantagraphics also notes that the book received a starred review from Kirkus.

Bedford Street — Ross Murray

Ross Murray’s darkly comic graphic novel follows loosely interwoven groups of characters who live on the same street. Their stories explore social decay, hardship, recklessness and isolation.

NOW #14 — Edited by Eric Reynolds

The comics anthology returns with what Fantagraphics describes as its biggest issue yet. The multiple Eisner and Ignatz Award-nominated series brings together contemporary art and literary comics from around the world.

Sherlock Time — Alberto Breccia and Héctor Germán Oesterheld

The first collaboration between Breccia and Oesterheld is a science-fiction crime and adventure serial. A mysterious figure saves Argentine retiree Julio Luna from a real estate deal that proves too good to be true. Together, they travel through time and space, solve supernatural crimes and investigate cursed objects.

Nocturnal Whispers: Phantasmagoric Fables from Meläg — Bong Redila

Filipino American illustrator and author Bong Redila presents a haunting, nostalgic collection of short comics. The stories pay homage to childhood while holding on to the hope that tomorrow will be better.

The Marvel Creator Collection No. 2: “Whatever Happened to Scorpio?”: The Complete Jim Steranko at Marvel — Jim Steranko

This two-volume set brings together Jim Steranko’s complete Marvel work. The collection showcases the art and stories that helped expand the visual possibilities of superhero comics.
