FCBD Review: The Red Ten #0

Welcome to Free Comic Book Day! Instead of our usual lengthy reviews, we’ll be presenting more of a mini-review for some of FCBD issues. With that said, the scoring is also going to work a bit differently. Each book gets one of three scores: Pick It Up, Borrow a Friends If They Get It, Pass on It. Let’s begin!

With issue three of The Red Ten out this week, this issue is an easy pick up. It gives a great walkthrough on each of the members of The Alliance and then ends with Oxymoron in a disturbing state of… art. There’s also a story from the Oxymoron hardcover that follows a police officer looking to end Oxymoron’s current reign of terror over the city. He’s installed bombs that respond to sound forcing the entire metropolitan area to remain quiet. The ending has a great twist and solidifies Oxy's brilliance as a character in my mind.

Overall, this is the perfect FCBD story. It introduces the world of The Red Ten to new readers, but also gives bonus material to current readers.

Score: Pick It Up!
