Yeah these are strange. The part I find to be the strangest is that they're coming directly from the WB. The surfing part isn't that strange because they do all kinds of crazy shit with their characters, but that it's a theme... is weird. Also the art sucks. I mean they're your fucking characters and you have a comic division... there's no reason for ugly art regardless of the fact that you're going for a style. Source
