Impressions of the 10 Minutes of Iron Man: Rise of Technovore

 

Marvel released the ten minutes of their upcoming Madhouse animated movie Iron Man: Rise of Technovore today. The video is after the jump if you'd like to watch it before I continue talking about my impressions. Overall the animation and CG were very good and the voice acting was surprisingly okay. I'm utterly confused by the storyline since the ten minutes are given zero context to go with them. That actually hurt the clip in my opinion because I didn't give a fuck about what was going on. Then the Punisher showed up to kill a bunch of stereotypical terrorist and I really began scratching my head. His voice sucked as well. The delivery was fine, but I swear I thought he was going to call Iron Man "Dude". Pepper was also annoying as fuck and if her character acts that cocky throughout the rest of the film then I will not be looking forward to her involvement at all. What did you think of it? For me I'm leaning more towards a rental than a purchase at this point, but I may even wait for it to become streamable.
