To me this marks a new era of Captain America books struggling to sell at Marvel. In the early 2000's the series was rebooted several times and any supporting title barely made it a year. Now after Brubaker's departure we have the first cancellation with The Winter Soldier not appearing in Marvel's July solicits. You'd think that Marvel would want the book to at least limp to the release date of the second Captain America film, but they had other plans. June marks the end for the series which seemed to have a lot of hype and following to it since Jason Latour took over, but hey what do I know I actually liked the series.
