New Preview and Reviews for Silence & Co.

With Silence & Co., the new, 176-page, black and white original graphic novel, on shelves this May, reviews have been pouring in.

Dustin Cabeal over at ComicBastards.com gave the book5/5, calling it “ a hitman concept that has one of the coolest elements you’ll ever read”, and adding “I enjoyed this book so much that I will likely read it again after marathoning through several films”.

Gregg Hatcher over at CBR’s Good Comics blog gave the book a “Buy” recommendation, raving “enormously compelling – it was almost impossible to put down once I’d started. It’s very tough and cool, in much the same action-movie, hard-R tradition as other crime comics like 2Guns or The Losers”.

Minhqua Nguyen over at Weekly Comic Book Reviews awarded the book an excellent “A-”, writing “Pulp at its finest.  A terrific sample of the genre, proving that you can have sex, drugs, and violence in a story and still keep it classy.

Carl Doherty at ShelfAbuse.com writes “[Gur] Benshemesh clearly appreciates and understands the crime comics of decades past, and this exhilarating modern-day take on those comics knows exactly when to dial up the violence, exploitation and machismo without ever asking readers to jettison their brain”.

The book is currently sitting at an outstanding 9.5 on comic review aggregator site ComicBookRoundup.com, and you can check out all reviews, including links over at SilenceandCo.com.
