Review: The Legend of Luther Strode #4
Say hello to the easiest review that I’ve ever written in my life. The book is The Legend of Luther Strode and it’s a one hundred percent balls out, in your face fight that doesn’t stop! I mean it does stop because it’s roughly 32 pages or so and they’ll still have two more issues. So yeah the book is going to end.
Luther and Jack deep are in their epic fight that is rocking the whole mansion. Meanwhile Petra regains control over her body just in time to see Luther and Jack bring their tornado of destruction right in front of her. Luther tells her to run and Binder gets sucked into the brawl. But Luther being Luther pulls some jaw dropping moves and puts both of his attackers in check.
In the kitchen Petra runs into Mikey’s body guard who informs her that he’s going to go down blasting and recommends that she gets herself armed if she’s going to help her man. Meanwhile the fight has gone south for Luther as he has lost control of his situation in the worst way possible.
They fight, they bite, they bite and fight and bite, bite, bite, bite, fight, fight, fight, The Legend of Luther Strode! Whew doggie, do they do some serious fighting in this issue. It was great and it really showed how much of a true threat Jack is. It’s rewarding to see Luther go toe to toe with someone on the same level as him, especially since that level has grown. The Librarian was a great fight but this is something on a whole other level. But in all honesty, the real star of the issue is Tradd Moore’s art. You’ve always known it to be amazing but this time out; there are so many panels where you will gasp due to the sheer brutality and beautiful detail. It’s just so damn good.
See that’s it short and sweet but never dull. The Legend of Luther Stone continues to tear through everything commanding its high marks and deserving every bit of it!
