Like the music video, the game itself is very tongue-in-cheek and purposely over-the-top.

Everything in Tormentor X Punisher can be killed with one bullet, including bosses! But you can also die with just one hit. Bosses can change up the layout of the arena, there are special kills you can initiate that will help you power up your weapons, and you reload your machine gun by shooting your shotgun. Mmmmmhmmmm.
