While the end of the year is usually all about the good, we here at Comic Bastards like to also remember... well the worst of year as well. That's right, we've given you the best and handed out our cuts, but now we're handing out golden eggs to our worst picks of 2014. Why a golden egg? Well take a look at the big ass eagle logo on the side and you can put the pieces together. Now let's dive into our next category: What Are You Not Looking Forward to From 2015?
Andre - The return of Steve Rogers as Captain America
David - Comics Getting More Expensive
You saw it start this year. Marvel getting rid of all of its $2.99 main universe titles and replacing them with $3.99 ones. Yup, that's only the beginning. As Marvel move towards the $4.99 price point, I can only hope that DC continues to keep the $2.99 price tag alive. If not, my pull list is going to suffer.
Dustin - Hearing About Marvel and DC
Fun fact, I've read ten Marvel and or DC comics this past year and that was far too many. I just can't be bothered. They're not doing anything I care about and frankly there are too many other great comics out there to waste my time on. So I'm not looking forward to telling people I read comics and then only hearing about Marvel and DC... just like this year... and the last. Comics aren't dead or dying they're just waiting for you to spend your money on something better.
James - Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice
I really would hope this will be good. But it just feels like it wants to bomb especially with DC's crappy record with movies (minus the Nolan Batmans). Green Lantern all over again but with more black, blue, and red. .
Jeff - Wait, there are things to look forward to?
2015 looks like a shit-caked copy of this year save for a few movies I'm casually looking forward to. If it weren't for Scott Snyder and Grant Morrison I would be proud to say I'm not reading any of the desperate crap the Big Two are shoveling. And movies? I'm looking forward to 'Avengers 2' but not on pins and needles or anything. *sigh* Remember when this was fun?
Kevin - Comic Books Movies
I hate to say it but I think that we've seen all we need to see. We're pissing in the shallow end of the talent pool. Somewhere between here and they're they just stopped being fun. Wake me everyone gets rebooted.
Neil - DC Convergence
Can you say cluster F#!%
Nick - The four more weekly series DC will no doubt announce soon
Nina - Ant-Man Movie
Please don't do this to us.
Samantha - Whatever they do with Spider-Man
Just stop. Please.
Steve - Batman
Books, movies, shows, this unbeatable dickface is everywhere, and will be more than ever, one would think, in the New Year. Ugh.
