While the end of the year is usually all about the good, we here at Comic Bastards like to also remember... well the worst of year as well. That's right, we've given you the best and handed out our cuts, but now we're handing out golden eggs to our worst picks of 2014. Why a golden egg? Dustin - The Million Dollar Man - Season 6
I still have no fucking clue who this book is geared towards. Old men? I know that old men read comics and hell they're what keep the industry strong, but I have to imagine that very few of them were sitting around wondering, "what would they do with a sixth season of Million Dollar Man? Punch a shark!" Yeah he punches a fucking shark in the issue and while that's great to tell people... it was terrible to actually read.
Neil - Turok: Dinosaur Hunter
A very meh game, the comic was the same
James - Turok: Dinosaur Hunter
This old school video game comeback started off decent enough. But it just kept going down, down, down with each issue. Probably should have stayed in the box with the mothballs.
Andre - All New X-Factor
Peter David's two previous volumes are among my favorite mutant-related comics, but this one lacked the humor and character development that were central to my enjoyment.
David - The Punisher
Alright this really is harsh. Putting the same comic in two categories is mean, but when I racked my brains for revivals this year, there were a lot more that I liked (She-Hulk, Catwoman, etc) than one's that I disliked. In fact, this was the only bad revival I could call to my mind and so essentially it wins by default. Unlucky. But yeah, I've said all I want to say about why I didn't like this book in the Worst Ongoing category so I don't suppose there's a lot of point in repeating myself here. I just really didn't like it in any way.
Austin - DC Comics
I just don't understand why they brought back all these characters into such a massive editorial mess. Wait, what? It's not a revival? PEOPLE HAVE BEEN READING THIS SHIT THE WHOLE TIME???
