Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake Launches a New Four-Issue Circus Adventure in January
Oni Press and Warner Bros. Global Consumer Products have announced Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake, a four-issue comic series written by Jenna Ayoub and illustrated by Damali Beatty. The first issue arrives January 13, 2027.
The story takes Fionna and Cake to the Circus Kingdom after Prince Gumball invites them to a one-night-only performance led by Ringmaster Prince. Their night under the big top takes a turn when an uninvited Ice Queen arrives and declares that she is running the show.
Ayoub, whose previous work includes My Little Pony: Classics Reimagined—Little Fillies, teams with Bestiary artist Beatty for the adventure. Oni Press editor Megan Brown describes the series as a response to readers asking for more Fionna and Cake comics.
Issue #1 features a main cover by Ayoub and additional covers by Nicole Goux and Reggie Graham. The lineup also includes a blank sketch variant, an $8.99 foil variant featuring Graham’s artwork, a 1:10 incentive cover by Dakota Cates, and a 1:20 incentive cover by Calculus Homework.
Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake #1 is a 32-page, full-color issue priced at $4.99. The five illustrated covers supplied with the announcement are shown here.
