Delineate is probably the lowest scoring book to make my “Best of 2016” list. When I was going through all my reviews for the year, I kept stopping at this one. While it didn’t score high, I was instantly rushed back into my memories from reading it. It stuck with me in a good way. Hell, if I had time, I would probably read it again at this point.
So, while Lonnie Allen’s Delineate wasn’t a perfect scoring book it did something that a lot of other titles didn’t this year… it stayed with me long after I was done reading it. With that, I had to put it on my best of list in the hope that others will check it out and let it burrow into your brain.
