Konosuba has a longer name, but I hate writing it, so I’m going with the name that I called it and knew it by. This is probably the one that people will call bullshit on, but I don’t care. This show was fucking funny. A NEET dies. His death is pathetic, but he comes face to face with the god of water in the afterlife. She gives him the choice of going to heaven or trying to live again by becoming a warrior in another realm that’s facing a great evil that has the gods freaked out. He can ask for and bring any weapon he wants as a bonus. He accepts, but due to how shitty the God is treating him, he picks her as his weapon… and the other gods grant his request.

What got me about this show was how the main character treated the entire situation as a video game. His luck skills are off the charts, but everything else sucks about him, and that gets him out of jams. The water goddess is useless for the most part and recruit’s others that are somehow worse than they are, including a masochistic paladin warrior that likes to shout out the dirty things she wants to happen to her and a mage that will only do explosion magic and can only do it once a day. The show is stupid as fuck, but it made me laugh every episode. Mid-season there’s an awkward jump in the story, but it didn’t tank the overall enjoyment of the series, and so it snuck on my list.
