IDW Collects Hello Kitty and Friends: Hello World! with Supercute Mystery Boxes
IDW Publishing and Sanrio have announced a June 2027 release for the Hello Kitty and Friends: Hello World! collection and a limited-edition Supercute Mystery Box. The 96-page collection gathers issues #1–4 by writer Mariko Tamaki and artist Cody Lemieux.
The story follows Hello Kitty as she investigates the disappearance of her friends’ signature accessories. When My Melody’s bow goes missing and other familiar items disappear, Hello Kitty has to solve the mystery while keeping her community together.
Each mystery box contains the trade collection, four character-focused trading cards, a keychain figure and a sticker sheet. The collectible packaging features Hello Kitty, Kuromi or Cinnamoroll. IDW says the boxes will have a single print run, with no reprints planned.
The full-color softcover is priced at $9.99, with each mystery box at $29.99. A $24.99 hardcover edition of the collection will be sold exclusively through IDW’s website.
