I hate to put this one on here, but after reading the manga and watching the anime… I have to think that no one involved in the anime thought to read the source material because it’s annoyingly different. This isn’t just tweaks to the story like One-Punch Man, but just random changes for no real apparent reason. Just entire scenes that made me wonder… what the hell is the point of this being in here?

The animation was also very disappointing. It missed a lot of the charm of the manga, but even worse it looked rushed and cheap. Considering how big this franchise is getting, you’d think you’d pump some more money into the budget, but I guess not. I know people still enjoyed it or at least told themselves they did, but I didn’t. I’ll stick with the manga and let this fade into the background.
