After the global success of 2014’s Godzilla and sending the mighty King Kong roaring back into theaters around the world in Kong: Skull Island, Warner Bros. and Legendary have officially unveiled the MonsterVerse, an interconnected entertainment universe that unites some of the most iconic monsters in pop culture.

If you watched/listened to this week's Super S - Anime Podcast E.022, then you already saw this. Otherwise, it's one of the better Loot Anime in recent memory. The shirt could have been better and maybe more relevant than a three-year-old anime spinoff. Otherwise, good shit.

That's right, two in one day! Here's February's Loot Wear and yes I know it's March... see the part where I said I just got it and the January one on the same day. I didn't get the Power Rangers jogger pants, but I'm not an MMPR fan, so it's no love loss. I was curious about their comfort level, but oh well. Also, if you want to see the full reaction to this unboxing watch this week's Comic Bastards Podcast... it's explained on there.

Well, I finally fucking got it! I don't know what the hold up was, possibly the Dungeon and Dragons hoodie I didn't get, but hey... no wait that sounds great. Oh well, the rest is pretty baller too. I'm a huge fan of the Loot Wears so I'll take'em when I can. Check it out and check out this week's podcast to see an explanation of the weirdness of this one and why it's all rushed. Back to normal next time.

Well, you obviously didn't come here to see the buttfuck teasers that the WB is releasing in prep for the actual Justice League trailer they're unveiling on Saturday (God I hope it's during the podcast, so I don't have to talk about it). They released two teasers, and it's clear that Zack Snyder loves the green screen and doesn't want any of this to look real, but rather like the bastard shit of hisWatchmen film.

If you watch this trailer, you don't need to read my glowing review of the first issue of X-O Manowar... no wait... read it anyway. If you don't, then you're not internet friendly and fucking up my bounce rate and other analytical terms that really mean nothing to a small site like this one. What were we talking about? Oh, right, X-O Manowar is pretty bad ass. I'm tired of talking about the first issue, though; I wanna sink my teeth into Aric's... I mean the second issue already.

Well, it's March... so that means it's Loot Crate time. The theme is "primal, " and it pretty much sucks. There's usually like one good thing, but I couldn't find it in this batch. The shirt is just a shirt to me so... maybe next month. They can't all be winners and shit. Also if you thumbs down this, then you don't get my humor, and that's okay. Just know that I'll just keep making them longer out of spite.

By Dustin Cabeal
I wish this wasn't so inspired by the TV show... the costume that is. The play style looks like Shang Tsung which is fine, but it definitely means that Firestorm is going to be a cheesedick fighter. By that I mean, annoying to fight against, but we'll see on May 16th. I hope this game is better than the first since I hated the first with a lot of passion.

I really enjoyed Rocket Jump's TV show that went behind the scenes of their videos. I was honestly just hoping for a second season of that but seeing this teaser... I'm okay with watching this instead. Knowing Rocket Jump, I thought comedy, but again, seeing the teaser made me think The Twilight Zone/Outer Limits. There's a lot of celebs on the show, which shows that RJ is moving up in the world and that's cool with me.

Acclaimed commercial, film, and music video director and photographer Samuel Bayer, who launched his career 25 years ago with Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" video, released a live action trailer based on ALL TIME COMICS, a comic book superhero universe he created with his brother, indie comic book creator Josh Bayer. The trailer stars LaMonica Garrett (DESIGNATED SURVIVOR, SONS OF ANARCHY) as Crime Destroyer and model Denise Schaefer (who has appeared in campaigns for GUESS and Marciano, and graced the cover of ELLE Mexico) as Bullwhip. The cast also includes actress and cosplay enthusiast Maitland Ward (BOY MEETS WORLD).

A mother fucking light novel. Fuck light novels. Either give me a full sized novel or manga. Why not a movie in one of these damn boxes? Sorry, I'm just frustrated because the anime boxes usually don't offend me or disappoint me as much. It's kind of either excitement or "I don't know this anime....". This time around, I knew everything, and it was all disappointing with the exception of the shirt. The shirt was really good.

I don't even remember last months, but I think it was okay. Okay enough that I was looking forward to this month's Loot Crate only to find it to be a big pile of meh. I will say that the Lego Batman head is pretty cool, but that I will never use it for it's intended purpose. IT would have been better if it was just hollow plastic than some kind of food container that fits enough for a small child. I don't even know why they send these anymore; it's not like anyone not involved with the site or one of the outspoken readers, actually, watches them. But hey, if they keep sending them I'll continue to be disappointed by the contents and make terrible mistakes, as I do in this video.
Check Out Sundance Selection "Black Holes"
By Dustin Cabeal
I've been waiting to talk about this animated short from Noodles Studio. Frankly, I love the look and design. They've released their 12 minute proof of concept film that was premiered at Sundance, for free. Now, they are asking for support, and if you like what you see, you can head over here and support them a couple of different ways. If you like animation, then you should definitely check it out and consider kicking them a few bucks if you can. Otherwise, just enjoy the film, I did and would like to see more Black Holes or at least more from Noodles Studio.

It's got Deathstroke in it... so that's a plus. The voice acting sucks though and the story seems really generic. After the last one, I'm not in any rush to check out the WBA DC films. They had a good run... or something.
Read MoreBetty Boop Animated Short... and Dress
I'm really just posting this because I love the animation, but one thing became clear to me when I sat down and read Dynamite's Betty Boop comic... it's a property that doesn't work in the modern era, and that's okay. There's a lot of that in comics, The Shadow, Man-Thing, there's others that are mostly Golden Age. My point is, they don't work in the world because they represent another time and that's okay. We can leave them there or just enjoy them as merchandise. The animation is pretty good for clearly having a small budget. The story makes no sense really, but whatever. I loved to look at it, but I don't know for how long that would last.

This one is fast and dirty people! I was looking forward to this one. It was okay. Nothing too exciting and I hate light novels or whatever this thing is. Otherwise, it wasn't bad. I guess I just need to get more familiar with the brands so that I do get a nosebleed when these arrive... I should just check out one of the other subscription boxes... I do that instead.
Read MoreDisney/Marvel Get A Real Video Game Company For New Avengers Game
By Dustin Cabeal
There's a lot of potential here given that it's Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics working on an Avengers video game. We have to brace ourselves for two and a half years of Tomb Raider comparisons, but other than that I have high hopes for this not sucking given that it's a publisher that makes good games, on a budget and mostly on time. No offense to anything Disney Interactive, but was there a timeline? It seemed like shit came out whenever was clever and that rarely works for the video game world.
