Review: Injustice 2 #1
By Ashley Gibbs
Personally, I am a casual fan of DC comics, but when the first Injustice video game came out years ago, I was pretty excited and enjoyed it a lot, so I’m eager for its sequel. To help build up hype for the new game, we’re also getting a new tie-in comic that helps explain the world of Injustice, to bring people up to speed on the story so far, as well as offer more story that might not have fit into the game itself. Injustice 2 #1 is the first issue of this new series and takes place directly after the ending of the first game. While it’s not necessary that readers be familiar with the first game or even the comic series revolving around it, these comics add more meaning to the story.

Review: Tekken #1
By Dustin Cabeal
If you make a Tekken comic book, I’m going to read it. I have read ever Tekken comic that has been made, and one thing is always completely clear to me upon finishing them: There is no reason Tekken should be a comic book.

Injustice 2 Reveals Firestorm
By Dustin Cabeal
I wish this wasn't so inspired by the TV show... the costume that is. The play style looks like Shang Tsung which is fine, but it definitely means that Firestorm is going to be a cheesedick fighter. By that I mean, annoying to fight against, but we'll see on May 16th. I hope this game is better than the first since I hated the first with a lot of passion.

Tekken Comic Book Creative Team Announced
By Dustin Cabeal
Ah man, I think I'm going to be stupid and pre-order this game. I mean, Akuma... come on! As for the comic, I'll read it, but I won't pretend to be excited. I've read Tekken comics before and they were shit; now I have lowered expectations.

Titan Publishing Bandai/Namco "Little Nightmares" Comic
By Dustin Cabeal
Oh what a world we live in. We don't even have to play the game in order to get tie-in material! I'm sure this comic will answer any deep rooted question you have about the game or something of that nature. I won't know, I don't know what the fuck the game is nor do I want to read a comic based on a video game in general.

Disney/Marvel Get A Real Video Game Company For New Avengers Game
By Dustin Cabeal
There's a lot of potential here given that it's Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics working on an Avengers video game. We have to brace ourselves for two and a half years of Tomb Raider comparisons, but other than that I have high hopes for this not sucking given that it's a publisher that makes good games, on a budget and mostly on time. No offense to anything Disney Interactive, but was there a timeline? It seemed like shit came out whenever was clever and that rarely works for the video game world.

UDON Entertainment reveals STREET FIGHTER VS. DARKSTALKERS #1 covers
By Dustin Cabeal
I'm still pretty excited about this. I have no doubt that it'll be better than Street Fighter x G.I. Joe and at the very least the art will be amazing because it's Udon.
