Review: Motherlands #5
By Cat Wyatt
Motherlands is one of those series that really knows how to rip out your heart and stomp on it. Every time you think you’ve got the series figured out, and that you’ve seen the worst it has to offer, it throws another curveball at you. Motherlands #5 is no exception to this rule, so be prepared. The last issue left us off with Tabitha finally successfully tracking down Bubba, only to find him grieving over his dead father.
Review: Delta 13 #1
By Damien Becton
Delta 13 appears to be a science-fiction horror/suspense story along the same lines of Alien and Prometheus and based off of that alone; I was on board coming into the issue - assuming that it would be executed well. The inaugural issue of the story does a decent enough job setting up the plot, establishing how the characters interact with each other, and constituting the tone that will encompass the story but for the first issue of a new book, I feel that it could have done a better job grabbing and holding the reader's’ attention. The entire book felt as if it were the first ten minutes of a movie that you have seen over and over.

Review: Deadpool 2
By Hunter T. Patrick
The biggest question asked is how this movie compares to the first. The first Deadpool was phenomenal and was a thing of beauty of the cinematography and wonderful directing. From the opening moments of Deadpool 2 did I feel this isn’t better, but worse. That thought did not last long as after a few minutes in full of jokes and typical Deadpool fun did the movie take a huge turn right before the opening credits. The first Deadpool lacked something I felt that defines the character, and after that scene in Deadpool 2, I knew they cracked what makes Deadpool Deadpool. Deadpool 1 is a phenomenal movie, but in comparison, Deadpool 2 is a phenomenal Deadpool movie. Deadpool 1 is better, but Deadpool 2 is better for the character and that makes it special.
Review: Walt Disney Treasury of Classic Tales vol. 3
By Sam King
This is the third volume collecting comic strips based on Walt Disney films. This is also the first volume of the collection that I’ve read. The volume concentrates on comics that ran during the 1950's and 1960's, so it features stories that are not as familiar to modern audiences as those done during the “Disney Renaissance.” Instead, this volume pulls together 101 Dalmatians, Swiss Family Robinson, Darby O’Gill and the Little People, and several others that are less recognizable to the average Disney fan.

DC Announces More Looney Tune Crossovers, This Time With Creepy Ass Covers
By Dustin Cabeal
"Hey... come in and sit down. Yeah, your mom and I need to have a talk with you... no, it's not about the marijuana in your nightstand or the dirty magazines under the bed, though I would question why you're wasting money on dirty magazines when we have the parental block turned off on the internet."
"No, it's about Lex Luthor/Porky Pig comic we found in your room..."
"There's nothing you can say that will explain this, so just stow it. It's bad enough that you have this weird Joker/Daffy Duck cover in which Daffy seems to be replacing Harley Quinn and is very aware that he's creepily drawn and has no pants. It's also strangely sexualized which is probably more indicative of the industry as a whole than you're weird ass tastes..."
"We're getting sidetracked though... what were you thinking getting this Sunday Evening Post monstrosity with Lex Luthor shaving Porky Pig? In what world is that not fucked up? I thought we raised you better than this... go to your room, we'll discuss your punishment later."
