Review: Empowered and Sistah Spooky’s High School Hell #1

Empowered is one of those series I’m glad continues to this day. It was ahead of its time and still is in a lot of ways. This new volume didn’t particularly grab me the way other chapters have. There are a few good jokes, but for the most part something was just off about the rhythm of the comic.

Review: Empowered and the Solider of Love #1

You all should know, I have never read Empowered. Yes, I have heard of it and I have read many an article about it, but I have never actually picked up a copy. Maybe it was because I thought of it as essentially bondage hentai, , it’s free on the internet. But with Empowered and the Soldier of Love I finally took the plunge. And I while I still have no idea what Emp’s super suit does, I still had a good time. Check out my full review below.

NYCC 2016: Dark Horse Announces Empowered's Next Villain... Love

I'm always excited for more Empowered. I wish it was ongoing, but I'll take it whenever Adam Warren is willing to make it. He's teamed up with Karla Diaz on art and her stuff is fantastic. It's perfect for the series and I am really looking forward to read the hell out of this series. This is probably one of my top announcements from NYCC.
