Review: The Short Con: Branwell and Pops Mysteries vol. 1

The Short Con is quirky and fun. It attempts to be all-ages in that it’s made for kids but can be enjoyed by adults, but it never finds the right balance of the humor throughout. Sometimes the jokes hit the spot and other times they felt forced or out of place.

I don't know how I feel about this... I mean, hey, it's good for Corey Lewis and so I guess that's good. But fuck, it feels like a bigger publisher swooping in and gobbling up the smaller publishers big fish. Since I'm quoted on the list you know I was down with this book from the get go so it's hard for me not to still recommend it to you, but fuck... I don't feel good about it.

Review: Object 15

Object 15 is an art book. There’s no story, and the theme is pretty loose. It’s also amazing to look at and very inspiring. There might not be a story per se, but I did enjoy creating my own stories based on the illustrations.
