The fan-favorite classic Archie Comics style is heading back to comics in BETTY & VERONICA FRIENDS FOREVER, a new monthly series for all ages written by Archie veteran Bill Golliher with art by Archie legend Dan Parent. The new series spotlights the timeless best friend duo in themed issues of five-page stories, starting with “At the Movies” in issue #1 this May.

Review: Harley & Ivy Meet Betty & Veronica #1

The most surprising thing about Harley & Ivy Meet Betty & Veronica is that it’s a six-issue series. I will admit that I was excited about this crossover at first, mostly because Paul Dini was writing it. If anyone were going to write this and make it good, you’d think it would be Dini. Unfortunately, it’s an incredibly boring issue and I can’t imagine reading five more of them.

Killer Crossover: Harley & Ivy Meet Betty & Veronica

Listen... if Betty isn't dressed like Batgirl by the end then this isn't worth it. On a similar note, if Veronica isn't dressed like Huntress... not worth it. Archie can be dressed like Robin and only Robin because there is nothing remotely "Batman" about him. Other than that, I will read this because of Paul Dini all coasts need me.
