Review: Doomsday Clock #2

It’s likely that Doomsday Clock will go down as the greatest waste of Gary Frank’s talents. I pop for the artwork for sure, but this story is so incredibly dull. I 100% stand by everything I said in my first review of the series. None of that has changed. That's what always made them stand out from Marvel. Marvel had to go dark with their title because all their villains sucked. We'll see if this pays off, but given who's in charge of it and who's illustrating it, it just seems like a typical event book that will find itself on a "why did they do this list" in five years.
