Review: Evolution #6

By Cat Wyatt

Things have been progressing pretty steadily for Evolution (unless we’re talking about the actual evolution happening in the series, in which case it is occurring in leaps and bounds). I feel like this issue has given me a better idea of which events are happening when, without actually telling me anything concrete. It’ll be interesting to see how everything falls into place in the end.

Review: Evolution #4

The story continues to slowly unfold in Evolution #4. We’re still focused on the same set of characters, all of whom are working on the puzzle (for lack of a better description) from different angles. I do feel like less happened in issue two, on the whole; though the transitions were less jarring this time, possibly because I was expecting them.

Evolution is a new series by Image, and the divergence from the typical cover art styles caught my attention. This will likely be a good read for any fans of Lovecraft (as that is the impression I’ve gotten from the first issue).
