Worst Anime of 2017
By Dustin Cabeal
Hey, we got through the Best/Worst of movies for 2017 and here we are on the Worst Anime of 2017. You can see the best here and look out for comic books later today. It was a rough year for anime, there's a lot of shit that could have made this list, but here are my picks!

Review: Fuuka – Season 1
By Dustin Cabeal
There is a reason I don’t read manga and then watch the anime adaptation, and it’s because of series like Fuuka. I have had a hate-hate relationship with this series if you refer to my single episode reviews. The music was bad and yet the entire premise centered around music. The love-triangle was being forced heavily even though readers of the manga know it was pointless.

We're back with another entertaining episode all about Anime! Well, two of us are back as Robert has taken a break from the show to catch up on life which is currently striking his balls. Speaking of balls, here's what we watched this week!

Review: Fuuka E.04
By Dustin Cabeal
Yeah, I’m done reviewing this show. This episode’s pacing is deliberately slow. It lingers to the point of being annoying, and it’s all to build the love triangle. Which spoiler, doesn’t fucking matter in the end. The love triangle is a façade, and so it’s even more perplexing that they’re focusing on it so much. Unless they plan to ignore the biggest event of the series, which if they do will ruin the point of the show.

Review: Fuuka E.03
By Dustin Cabeal
I’ll stick with reading the manga. Honestly, I’ll continue to watch this show, but I’ve given up on it being any good. The pacing is so rushed that the relationships are forced rather than naturally brought together. We’re on episode three, and they’re already at the summer job and formed the band.
Review: Fuuka E.01-02
By Dustin Cabeal
If you’ve listened to the CBMFP or read our Best of 2016 manga list, then you know that I adore the manga that Fuuka is based. I was stupidly excited for it. I should have been more reserved and hesitant because I have wisdom and experience on my side, but every once in a while you just get stupidly excited for an adaptation. It’s why they do them. They know that a percentage of fans will just shit their pants for something and say, “take my money.”

Review: Fuuka – Ch. 134
By Dustin Cabeal
This review is my first time attempting to cover an individual chapter of a current manga. Fuuka, if you recall from the CBMFP, was a story that I feel in love with hard! I mean over a hundred chapters in a day. I forgot to eat at one point and wondered why my head hurt because I was so into this story.
