I had a lot of praise for the first issue of Ken Garing’s follow up to Planetoid. The second issue of Praxis isn’t nearly as strong and left me wondering what exactly the issue was trying to accomplish. The story jumps forward eight years into the future and once again we’re along for the ride as the story establishes the lay of the land.

Having enjoyed the first volume of Planetoid, I was actually pretty excited about creator Ken Garing’s return to the world. I, of course, had some reservations about the story, would it hold up to the first volume, is a worthy addition to the universe or is it just a sequel for sequel sake? Most of these of these questions were answered by Garing in an interview I did with him prior to the release of Praxis, but there’s nothing like reading it for yourself.

I loved the first volume of Planetoid. Sure the ending was a little weak, but I'm happy to see it return with a new volume. Hopefully, with so much time in between, the follow up will be just as good or better.
