Review: Quantum and Woody #7
By Robert Ramos
After last month’s whatever, we’re back at it with another installment from the World’s Worst Superheroes. Did the duo survive after the 24 hours of not klanging? If they do, do they still have their powers? More importantly, do I give a shit about this story yet?

Review: Quantum and Woody #6
By Robert Ramos
Funny man Eliot Rahal is taking over for other funny man Daniel Kibblesmith on Valiant’s Dynamic Duo, Quantum, and Woody. I’ve been a closet fan of Eliot Rahal since his heyday outings with now bigshot Donny Cates, so it’s nice to see his name out there, on his own, on a widely renown title. So how did his big debut fair? One word: Eh.

Review: Quantum and Woody! #2
By Dustin Cabeal
Quantum and Woody is just weird. It’s a comedy full of drama that fits perfectly with the rest of the Valiant Universe, but then also feels horribly out of place at the same time. It’s the curse of the comedic superhero book. Recently there’s been a lot more attempts at humor in superhero comics, and most of them have frankly sucked ass. The whole ass. This isn’t a meme, no one’s getting points for eating ass, it just sucks. But, it makes you appreciate comics like Quantum and Woody all the more. Comics that manage to find that balance of humor, drama, and action without feeling like a hollow shell of its former self. That’s all my review should be, but that’s now how I roll, so I’ll just keep going and hope that my sentiments are destroyed by my own words. Oh wait, I said suck and eat ass a lot already, so I’m sure it’s all uphill from here.

Review: Quantum and Woody #1
By Daniel Vlasaty
I am kind of new to Valiant Comics. I’ve obviously known about Valiant, and I’m sure I’ve even read a Valiant book here or there. But nothing all that regular or consistent like I’ve been reading lately. I have been enjoying books like X-O Manowar, Bloodshot, Ninja-K, and Secret Weapons. So, I’ll admit that I was kind of excited to give Quantum and Woody a shot as well. I will say that I do remember reading one issue of a previous Quantum and Woody series and not being super into it. I just picked up a random issue at a friend’s recommendation, and I think that was the problem. I didn’t know the characters. I wasn’t invested in the story. It was just a thing I read and didn’t like. But I didn’t hold it against the characters or the book or whatever. It just wasn’t my thing – at the time – and if my life has taught me anything, I am all for second chances.
