Get Your Game On: Oni Press at GenCon 2018

We're exhibiting at Gen Con 2018, where we will be selling limited quantities of a special early Gen Con sneak preview edition of Rick and Morty™ vs. Dungeons & Dragons #1 by writers Patrick Rothfuss (The Kingkiller Chronicle) & Jim Zub (Wayward), and artist Troy Little, featuring an exclusive cover from artist Kory Bing. Writer Jim Zub (booth #1649) and cover artist Kory Bing (booth #2129) will be in attendance to support this most epic of crossovers between these two renowned licensed properties. Kory Bing will be signing at Oni Press booth #2655, on Friday and Saturday from 1-2pm.

Review: Rick and Morty Presents: The Vindicators #1

Fans of the animated hit Rick and Morty know the gig- a hilarious, grim, and consistent deconstruction of genre after genre, trope after trope, and narrative after narrative. Rick and Morty is part comedy TV program, and part societal framing device fashioned in the style of Deconstructive criticism- the literary critique style so complex that my Sophomore Seminar chose to skip that chapter of critical theory. Rick and Morty creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon have put that decision to shame.

Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty get back in the panels with an all-new Rick and Morty™ Presents quarterly series of one-shot comics, beginning with the first of four 40-page issues. Learn the secret stories and hidden pasts of your favorite Rick and Morty™ characters, with each issue focusing on a different side character of the franchise, including: The Vindicators written by J. Torres (#1), Krombopulos Michael written by Mallory Ortberg (#2), Sleepy Gary written by Mags Visaggio (#3), and Pickle Rick and Jaguar written by Delilah Dawson (#4). All issues will be illustrated by CJ Cannon, colored by Nick Filardi, and lettered by Crank!

Unboxing: Loot Wear - December 2016

I have to say this is probably the best Loot Wear that I've gotten. Sure I'm not in love with all of the brands that they put in there, but as far as wearability goes, it's pretty damn good. The only thing that I would feel like a fraud wearing is the Mr. Robot stuff and I still don't see how that show is such a fashion powerhouse, but whatever. Also my fucking cat makes an audio appearance. Enjoy.
