Five very long minutes are left in the Tournament of Power, and the field immensely grows tense for the remaining two battles. After Dyspo’s defeat and Gohan’s honorable sacrifice, we move forward with Toppo and his dramatic transformation leaving behind his “justice” motto and becomes a God of Destruction after Frieza pushes his limits. A battle of evil stirs in the tournament and makes an impressive turn around for Toppo’s character.

Universe 7 is hanging by a loose thread on this episode as we watch the warriors fail in many attempts to take down their opponents and making it worrisome for their fate in this 7-minute tournament. The main focus is on Jiren, Goku, And Vegeta while the rest of the warrior’s battles feel like they’re just there. We receive a shocking reveal from Vegeta when he unleashes a higher power that could work against the unstoppable warrior. Goku gets tactical with his fight against Jiren that delivers an intense and accelerating battle.

Review: Dragon Ball Super E. 118

In case you forgot, Goku has obtained a power far beyond Super Saiyan God Blue, and it’s called Ultra Instinct! It’s incredible and something unimaginable to my eyes. I was doubtful to how they can top a power much more than a God, but the show definitely achieved this challenge. Dragon Ball Super has gone a long way starting very slow in its beginning season, but it’s made its way to delivering us with that intense and accelerating battles we enjoyed watching from Dragon Ball Z. In this week’s episode universe 2 and 6 faced defeat in the Tournament of Power and ended with sad farewells.

Robert actually found this bit of news just after we had finished recording this week's episode of Super S. Not that we would have had much to say. Lindsay wants to see it, I'll likely be the only one to get it in his area and I'm sure Robert would have asked what the "R" stood for while sipping water from Canada.
