CBFMP 255: Even I Have My Limits
By Dustin Cabeal
It's NYCC time, which used to be a happy time... now it's just a con I used to know (fuck you Justin for getting that song stuck in my head forever!). How are you? I ask that because that's how Warren Ellis writes his newsletters and he's in charge of WildStorm now! That's at the end, though, we start with Power Rangers and Logan. Lion Forge makes big moves and there's other actual comic news to come from NYCC. I know. Comic news on a comic podcast, what will we think of next?

CBMFP 253: Shared Universe
There's a weird hiccup at the beginning that couldn't be fixed. It's over quickly so don't worry about it too much. After that we discuss more nerd suits, that's right, nerds are taking over fashion... or are they? Ghost in the Shell released some teaser things, and we address what they kind of are. DC's writer program announced the class of 2016 or something. It's a fellowship of sorts, let's get over the whole school thing. There's more TV talk as well, including the season premiere of Agents of Shield. Exciting. Books reviewed on this episode:

First it's the possible casting for the Crow reboot movie. Then a bunch of CW news happens, a musical, Kevin Smith, The Ray, Supergirl... I'm sure there's plenty of more CW stuff. We also discuss Marvel's Civil War II's delays because it's that slow of a news week. We answer one question that we've previously covered on this show so buckle up for the last time and find out who's a Betty and who's a Veronica. Books reviewed on this episode:

Marvel Studios clarifies the next two Avengers films, while Captain Boomerang is tripping shrooms. On a completely non-comic related story, Luc Besson is found guilt of plagiarizing John Carpenter?! And on the actual comic side of things Marvel's Prostate Cancer Awareness Variants aren't all they're cracked up to be. Books reviewed on this episode:
