This week’s hour of power has a little more chatter about some Marvel NOW news along with some added banter regarding that dream for a new Wonder Woman television show. There are talks of the French Heavy Metal show too. Somewhere in there I fuck up a kick-ass Contra joke and Dustin is attacked by nature. Episode 45: If You Like To Come Sniffing Around

This week we cover our monthly round-up with its new title, Lucky Bastards and Stupid Bastards. Lucky would represent the things in the world of comics that we loved. An example of this segment is JMS’s Dr. Manhattan book from DC. On the Stupid side, we take a look at shit that is totally insane and basically uncalled for. A prime example of this is the WB closing down their Animation Line. So feel free to follow along on the site or just sit back and enjoy the ride. As for books we read—Star Wars: Darth Maul – Death Sentence #2 and Boom’s Higher Earth. It’s episode 45 people and CBMFP is GO!!

Rob Liefeld makes the news so we talk about him--he created Deadpool don't cha' know... Justice League makes the news because Superman and Wonder Woman are sucking face on the cover. Add a Sliver Surfer rock opera and you have half of the podcast. The second half is contains the books we read! Episode 41: Everybody Wants To Rule The World

If you’re lost in the title of the episode, don’t worry… it’ll all make sense after you listen to it. This week we tackle some news that’s not very pressing but interesting including: The Scott Pilgrim Collector’s Edition dropping this week, then The Dark Knight Returns Part 1 DVD news and lastly the Marvel NOW creative teams and ridiculous teaser titles. From there we talk to Micah Kaneshiro the artist from the first few issues of Aspen Comics Broken Pieces. Be sure to check out Micah’s blog and look for his future projects coming up. We end the way we always do by taking about books we read. From Kevin’s side of things he talks about Idolized #1 which you can’t even read yet! Then a pretty lengthy discussion about Think Tank. From my end I cover Blade of the Immortal vol. 25 and then we both dive into Black Kiss 2 #1. CBMFP is GO!

Talking With Frank Cho About Liberty Meadows

I may not do a ton of videos and let's be honest I'm still pretty bad at the ones that I do, but at least they're fun! Point in case, talking to Frank Cho will always be a highlight of working on Comic Bastards. Talking to Robert Pereyda of Namco/Bandai

If there is one other major hobby that we enjoy around Comic Bastards its video games, so when we found a bunch of arcade cabinets with old school games we had never heard of it was kind of a no brainer to check it out. Soon enough we were talking with Robert Pereyda about Bandai Namco's comic initiative that will hopefully help in the revitalisation of this old school games.
