Episode 87: That's Another Dude's Problem

As much as there is going on in the comic world this week, we broke from routine and decide to pull out the tool box and fix something broken in the industry. Usually this is a character at a company like you’ve likely heard on a past episode, but today we decided to tackle an entire company and rebuild it from the ground up. After the coin toss we decide to go with DC Comics… for fairly obvious reasons. We did cover some books though. I talked about Pregnant Bitches of War from Fried Comics and Widowed which is another Submit title on Comixology. Kevin took an early read of Chronos Commandos from Titan Comics and it sounds like you’ll be excited for it once it hits comic shops. Now get ready for us to jackhammer DC Comics! CBMFP is GO!

Episode 86: The Bub Rookie Burger

Have we got a show for you today! There is so much happening in the world of DC Comics movie department, also know as the WB, that I'm not even going to put up the links. That and we cover it all so you're good. We also hit up some E3 comic book video game tie-in news. Then it's another journey to DC Comics comic division, also know as DC Comics, were we discuss our impressions on the new Doomsday! Trust me, it's really cool and you'll be wishing DC had the grapes to do it. Aside from the news Kevin finally watched The Dark Knight Rises... what? We only had time to cover two books this week and they're both about a Gorilla with six-shooters! That's right, we compare Boom's Six-Gun Gorilla to Six-Gun Gorilla Long Days of Vengeance. Episode 85: My Pants Have the Apple Fritter Frosting

This week the CBMFP covers DC’s Forever Evil, DC2 and Marvel’s Mighty Adventures. Jock is taking over on Savage Wolverine and there’s something called Comic Codes. Episode 84: I Think He’s Smuggling Sausages

This week the CBMFP covers the death of Catwoman, Kick Ass 2 toys, the assholes on Hollywood Boulevard, Captain America 2 and Robert Redford's Shield team. Episode 83: They Didn't Make it off The Island

Hey dawgs, this week we chat about DC’s Wrath and Scorn and their possibility to be a new team along the lines of Batman and Robin but cooler! Avatar and Hickman team up for God is Dead. Apple bans some more comics on the iOS. We talk about the fan-made Kingdom Cometrailer. Everyone wants Quicksilver in their Marvel movie. Episode 82: I Know Some People That Need a Sweat Camp

Hello everyone, this week we cover more news from the DC front. First off  we go over what books got canned and the departure of writer James Robinson. The we speculate on a rumor of a  Trinity, Earth One team-up. There’s a comic book from Image called Burn the Orphanage that could be fun. Rob Liefeild wants your money for something. Then we celebrate the magic that is Robocop. Books that get covered are: Twelve Reason to Die, Man-Gull, Heart of Stone so much more.

This week we talk about some of the Wonder Woman: Earth One rumors. Then we cover the awesome idea of the DCU crossing over with the Masters of the Universe! And of course we touch on that new Halo: Initiation series that Dark Horse announced at c2e2. Dustin reminds you why Mind MGMT is one of the best series being published along with his declining love towards Five Weapons. While Kevin hits you with not one, but two snikting issues of Wolverine's new series. Episode 78: I’m a Pretty Little Princess

The week DC shows off two new characters with The Joker’s Daughter and Relic, a new GL bad guy! Are they cool? Who knows but we're talking about it. There’s a good chance that the classic NBC show, Heroes is coming back…maybe? How about Rachel Rising on your television? Oh and what’s with all of these famous people writing comics? Episode 77: Alfred, Get Off The Phone Man I'm Trying To Get On The Internet

This was a strange week in comics as a lot of self-made controversy flooded the industry, but first we tackle the upcoming DC Comics events including Trinity War and Villains month. We also cover DC's big pat on the back with their first transgender character which instantly leads us into Saga #12... I'm sure you've heard of that issue buy now. We get excited about Dredd 2 continuing in comic book form and try to figure out why the hell Oblivion is consider a comic book movie? Books that got read this week are Witchblade: Day of the Outlaws, Dungeons & Dragons: Forgotten Realms - Cutter #1, Brody's Ghost: Book 4 and Theremin. CBMFP is GO!
