Okay, I'll be the one to say it. That name sucks. I get it, it's her name and there's nothing to be done about that, but Berger Books sounds like "Burger Books" and let's be honest that's not a great title unless you're being goofy. Otherwise, I'm not excited about this until a book is announced. The reason being is that I read Surgeon X and it was one of the worst things I've read... and Karen Berger edited that book. I'm not going to judge prematurely, but I'm also not going to get hyped prematurely either.

Okay, maybe not most guys since I've yet to meet another dude that didn't just watch the movie because of a woman he was dating, but I legit like the film. I don't, however, care for a movie writer working on comic books. While this gave me tingles of nostalgia for movie reasons, it's not exciting my comic buttons just yet. I'll wait until I read it, though.

I won't lie, this is great as fan art or even variant covers if you must, but seeing this in practice and for it to be a growing practice is worrisome. It reminds me of my recent "Unpopular Comic Opinion" that you can listen to here. Just a lot of licensed crap this week and I'm sure we'll see more of this when they're ready to show it.
