Review: Protectors Inc. #8
One of those great hidden gem finds that I have encountered while scouring for comics has been this little Joe’s Comics title that is published by Image.
Review: Armor Hunters – Harbinger #2
This has been an interesting tie-in to Valiant’s Armor Hunters. It really is this perfect meshing of Harbinger and Armor Hunters, but it doesn’t feel as closely connected as some of the other Valiant titles.
Review: The X-Files – Year One #2
The X-Files: Year One continues to soldier on in this issue, and it has started to attempt to bring in issues of the show to tie into it.
Review: Samurai Jack #11
I almost didn’t review Samurai Jack this week for the silent issues, but I am so glad that I opened this book once more.
Review: The Life After #2
If you read my review for the first issue then you know that I was going into this issue a bit hesitant.
Review: Manifest Destiny #9
I’ve been real hit or miss with this title. At some times, it truly dazzles me with impressive historical story and fascinating artistic depictions.
Review: Binary Gray #8
Binary Gray returns and I have to say that this issue is a bit different from the previous issues. It definitely feel as if a major storyline ends here and that left me wondering what was planned for the ninth issue?
Review: The Last Broadcast #4
I never would have imagined that The Last Broadcast was a series that people either love or hate.
Review: Translucid #5
Translucid is finally catching back up to the place where it started in more ways than one.
Review: Judge Dredd #22
I have thoroughly enjoyed the run that Judge Dredd has been on lately, but a big old blip in the road slowed down the grand conclusion of The American Way of Death story arc that just left me flat disappointed last month.
Review: The Wicked + The Divine #3
The third issue of The Wicked + The Divine marks the issue where I’m willing to start calling it a beautiful, frustrating exercise instead of a comic that is fun to read.
Review: TMNT - Annual 2014
I couldn’t be more excited about this annual and to see Kevin Eastman take over the art for this issue as well.
Review: The Strain: The Night Eternal #1
If you have read the books by Gullermo Del Toro and Chuck Hogan…Well you know what excellent story you are reading in The Strain
Review: The Fade Out #1
Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips are already back with The Fade Out. If you haven’t seen these guys work together, then this is a perfect chance to start.
Review: Steampunk Battlestar Galactica 1880 #1
Fans of the Battlestar Galactica franchise will rejoice with the release of this steampunk rendition.
Review: Trees #4
I figured it out. At least I think I did. I’m referring to what Trees is about. I know that in reading our past reviews and other people’s views of the series some are completely lost and others find the disconnected narratives confusing or worse… pointless.
Review: Zaya
If you haven’t noticed I’ve been following Magnetic Press’ releases pretty closely. In particular I’ve become a fan of JD Morvan’s, but since I’m relatively new to his work I’m still getting a feel of what to expect.
Review: Grimm Fairy Tales #101
Issue101 of Grimm Fairy Tales takes us on a whole new adventure but welcomes back the familiar faces of Belinda and Sela.
Review: Doctor Spektor: Master of the Occult #3
Magnus, Solar, and Turok crossed over into Spektor’s dimension to assist him in dealing with enemies that have replaced the doctor’s friends and threaten his existence.
Review: Justice Inc. #1
It’s kind of crazy to think that the three main characters in this team-up were all before and lesser-known than the characters they went on to inspire.
