Don't get me wrong I think this statue is dope, but that's an ugly Colossus Titan, but again a good ugly. It's a variant designed by Takayuki Takeya and it's very exclusive and limited. It's also $675 bucks and not shipping until March.
Read MoreReview: Drumhellar #8
Drumhellar has been one of those trippy little indulgences that I have thoroughly enjoyed during the last several months. The opening story arc had me laughing a lot, informed a little, and entertained completely.
Read MoreHulk Smash Puny News Segment!
What a world we live in. While covering a flood a local news station spotted a Hulk statue in a man's backyard. From the looks of it its pretty legit too. The owner comes out after spotting his yard on the news and well let's just say he owns the segment.
Read MoreReview: Pop #1
Remember how Fifty Shades of Grey started out as some Twilight knockoff? Well after reading the first issue of Pop, I’m pretty confident that Curt Pires’ story had its beginnings as Grant Morrison-era Doom Patrol fan fic, one that shot for the same kooky and compelling narrative style but ends up having more in common with the guy you knew in 10th grade who tried just a little too hard to be weird (that guy was me if you went St. John’s. Class of ’07!).
Read MoreReview: Transformers vs. G.I. Joe #2
Having taken their shuttle to Cybertron, The G.I.Joes look to bring the battle to the giant metal invaders’ home planet. The Joes’ weapon of choice is none other than a bomb that infects the fallout zone with green plants.
Read MoreReview: A Haunted House 2
This is a profoundly stupid movie. It is racist, misogynistic, misanthropic, but also incredibly obvious. There apparently was another movie called A Haunted House. This is the second one. Yay.
Read MoreReview: TMNT - Turtles in Time #3
The concept for Turtles in Time is cool. The Turtles travel to all different places and time periods for a one issue adventure. No doubt that the art is awesome and who would have thought you would see these Turtles in crazy ass places again?

Read MoreReview: Low #2
I was not the world’s biggest fan of Low #1, and no one will accuse me of loving issue 2, but I do think the series might have launched on a misstep towards finding a groove.

The Dream Realm grows more and more dangerous for Detective Joe Thursday by the minute. The rules that govern the world slowly slip away, and small messages appear to Joe that confirms all is not well.
Read MoreReview: Conan The Avenger #5
Conan the Avenger issue five is one of the most fun issues of the series to date, but not in the traditional sense of the word “fun,” more in the “Conan is finally being a heroic badass and getting over Belit” sense of the word, and that’s a good thing.
Read MoreReview: Mind MGMT #25
We are getting near the end of Mind MGMT even though we basically have a year left of the series. I know that seems like a ways off, but we all know as comic readers that ends coming quickly and this series will be over and done with before you know it.
Read MoreReview: Dream Thief: Escape #3
When you review as many books as we do on this site, reading for leisure is something that rarely happens. There are a lot of titles that I want to read, but have fallen behind on because of a lack of time. There are a few titles though that I make sure to read, that I find the time no matter what and Dream Thief is one of them.

There was no bigger surprise last month than Titan Comics’ new adaptation of Doctor Who. Both the Tenth Doctor and the Eleventh Doctor had wonderful debut issues, but could the magic continue?
Read MoreReview: The 7th Sword #4
7th Sword #4 does a lot of setting up for the issue after it, which is the cardinal sin of a monthly comic book.

Hey, sports fans! It’s me, Steve, reporting from the depths of my beard. Also, I’m in Turkey or something crazy, so I’m using Nick as my mouthpiece, and he is typing what I’m reviewing in a spectrally-induced haze, from which he will awake with no memory, only a vague sense of regret.
