Review: Deathstroke: The Terminator #1-8 (2026)
Review: Deathstroke: The Terminator #1-8 (2026)

By Dustin Cabeal

As comic readers, I think there are always characters that people want to write or draw more than other characters. There is something about them that inspires the imagination—be it a story element or background piece that entices the mind to daydream about the endless possibilities with that particular character. Deathstroke is one of those characters for me. This particular volume of his titular series really digs into his long and rich backstory: Deathstroke’s creation of the League of Assassins, his wife, his children, his extensive training, and his abilities. It puts all the complicated pieces together in a cohesive, understandable package for new readers while also exciting longtime readers. It’s a series that reminds everyone what makes a comic great and why nothing else can replace it.

Review: Binary Gray #8

Binary Gray returns and I have to say that this issue is a bit different from the previous issues. It definitely feel as if a major storyline ends here and that left me wondering what was planned for the ninth issue?

Review: Trees #4

I figured it out. At least I think I did. I’m referring to what Trees is about. I know that in reading our past reviews and other people’s views of the series some are completely lost and others find the disconnected narratives confusing or worse… pointless.

Review: Zaya

If you haven’t noticed I’ve been following Magnetic Press’ releases pretty closely. In particular I’ve become a fan of JD Morvan’s, but since I’m relatively new to his work I’m still getting a feel of what to expect.

Review: Transdimensional #1
Review: Transdimensional #1

By Justin McCarty

I picked up Transdimensional having no prior knowledge of the subject. Not even the Kickstarter description. If I had, I probably would have skipped it. I am probably one of five comics fans that don't get into sci-fi horror. The Kickstarter describes the comic as being a sci-fi horror in the same family as Alien and The Abyss. I’ve seen Alien maybe (just the one - sad face from you probably), not The Abyss. I wasn’t the proper audience for this comic. However, if I was into this type of story, I could see its appeal.
