Review: Wytches #5
In the tradition of all great horror, Wytches refuses to answer a lot of the questions it poses right away, sometimes not even in the same issue.
Review: GrindHouse: Drive In, Bleed Out #3
“Blood Lagoon” is the sequel to GrindHouse’s earliest iteration as Doors Open at Midnight; more specifically, it’s a follow-up to its very first short story in “Bee Vixens From Mars.”
Review: Mercy Thompson #6
Mercy Thompson #6 concludes an arc in a fairly anticlimactic manner. Everything is very neatly wrapped up, but with little drama or even action.
Review: Chew #47
I fucking love this comic (they swear in the comic, so I'm gonna swear in the review). This is by far and away my most anticipated comic. Everything in it is perfect. The universe they've created feels so surrealy real.
LSCC: My Budget Comic Book Haul
The dust has settled on London Super Comic-Con for another year. 2015 was a big year for the show, with London's ExCel convention centre heaving with comic-book fans for the weekend of the 14th-15th March.
Review: Judge Dredd #28
The Mega City Manhunt finally ends here. And it begins with Joseph Dredd, flat out clinging for his life, laying on the ground and bleeding out. Taken out by one serious pistol packing single mama out for the reward of free insurance for life.
Review: The Strain: The Night Eternal #7
Ok, first off I have to say that this is the sweetest cover not only from The Strain: The Night Eternal series. It could be quite possibly be the sweetest cover from the entire Strain run. It is dag nasty! It is more than dag nasty!
Review: Red Sonja: Vulture’s Circle #3
We have come to enter and pass the halfway point of this miniseries event featuring an older and more mature Red Sonja and her battle to save the world. Sutekh, the Son of Set has been born and released upon the world, wreaking a bloody swath of destruction and doom upon a hapless populace.
Review: Punks The Comic #5
I could, in my effort to describe Punks the Comic say that it is a graphic rendering that has fallen completely off the rails. But if I did that, I don’t think that this description really is that good of one because that would lead you the reader to assume that there were ever rails on Punks the Comic in the first place.
Review: Arrow 3.16 - The Offer
Ra’s al Ghul wants Oliver Queen to take his place. Ollie, Diggle, and Merlyn are free to return to Starling while Ollie thinks over the generous offer, and then right on cue, there’s a new villain in town.
