Review: Arrow 3.18 - Public Enemy
This week we got an action-packed episode with quite a bit of Lance’s personal drama. Plus Ray had a bit of a storyline, and in our flashbacks, Ollie meets Shado’s sister.
Trailer Time: Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet
I'm willing to give this animation the benefit of the doubt, but I can't say that I was amazed by it. Perhaps because I'm unfamiliar with Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet in book form, I'm just not as excited.
Review: iZombie 1.3 – The Exterminator
Well I missed a review for last week’s show so I’ll touch on that before I get to what happened this week. Last week was largely the same as the pilot. It built on the exact same formulas and relationships established in the pilot and failed to expand in any discernible way.

The plot is a bit jumbled, again, it’s hard to find the various and elusive A and B plot’s and instead we get several equally important plot lines. Let’s jump right into them.

Flash, dude, what are you doing? I was kind of looking forward to this episode until I started to really think about the continuity. Having to focus on continuity is never a good sign for me because it means there’s nothing compelling about the story.

If there is one thing that we have plenty of its Zombie stories. What was once a niche genre that confused the common woman or man, has now taken over the mainstream. You can thank a dozen properties ranging from movies, comics and video games for this undying trend. So the question when a genre becomes to big is, do we really need more?

If this were any other medium you’d likely skip The March of the Crabs, but thankfully it’s not. The March of the Crabs iterates one of the greatest things about the comic medium… you can tell any story.
Review: Girl in Dior
Girl in Dior is a look at the life of Christian Dior. I almost hate to tell you anything about it, but I suppose the experience will be determined by your level of knowledge of Dior and the era in general. The thing is I became very attached to the main character and the way the story is told you really believe that this was a person plucked out of Dior’s life.
Review: Eden Vol. 1
I’ve been on a huge anime and manga kick lately and as fun as the mainstream stuff is, I’m at my heart always going to go for the indie stuff. Enter Gen Manga, a company that’s bringing over underground manga to the states. So far I’ve enjoyed a few of their titles (Aliens Vs., Alive and a few others I haven’t reviewed) and with each new story I check out, I just want more. Such is the case with Eden Vol. 1.

Months ago, I had the pleasure to read and review a rather unique independent comic from the creative (and maybe demented) minds of writer/artist Joe Deagnon and writer Kirby Stasyna called Chicken Outfit.
